Before the caterpillar enters its chrysalis—it belongs to someone. And when the caterpillar turns into a butterfly—ready to leave its chrysalis—it still belongs to someone. It belongs to its mother butterfly.
Before entering the chrysalis—you would never think the two were related. But through a process—it comes to grow its wings—reflecting the one to whom it belongs.
Upon leaving the chrysalis—it’s evident who it belongs to. Spreading its wings—it flies into the purpose that it was created for. It flies free into the garden—the beautiful beginning of a new journey.
Just as the caterpillar—I belonged to someone before entering my chrysalis, the wilderness. And, I belong to someone—having left. I belong to my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ—by His grace, I’m chosen: this is the greatest privilege.
Being chosen comes with responsibility. Im my chrysalis, the wilderness, an ordeal—the Lord needed to see purity come forth from me. He needed to see forgiveness, love and trust flow from within me. He chose me to be His—and He needed to see me—reflect Him. Hand in hand, “in the heart of the wilderness: I was tossed in affliction—I looked like the end. But, there’s an eye watching over me, who permitted the place: chastisement had to fall upon me, before the refreshing rain of mercy. By His grace—I understand both gratefully. I once felt forgotten, but I know that’s a lie. The truth is simple: my growth tells of God—that makes me His child.”–Hand In Hand
I had to learn lessons that set me free. I experienced the healing balm of living in forgiveness, love and trust. I learned: that circumstances that come by in life can hurt—and can result in tying us up—if we react to them instead of responding to them. If we walk in the flesh instead of walking in the spirit. Following the Lord and reflecting the Lord–we walk in freedom.
When we live trusting the Lord: when we live purely in the Lord: when we live in response mode—we’re free going beyond the wounds. No longer living in reaction mode: no longer hindered by walking in the flesh–we're free to walk in our divine purpose. We develop our wings to soar. We soar to a higher place. Reflecting the one to whom we belong–we fly out of the wilderness.
I broke out of my chrysalis.
I flew out of the wilderness.
Vibrant wings.
Fluttering.
Soaring.
Set free—I discovered the person—once hidden behind the wounds.
Set free—I discovered my divine purpose—once hidden behind the wounds.
Set free–I walk in the power of purity.
In purity: I discovered a new reflection.
And so can you.
From the lessons I’ve learned: from the lessons I’ve walked: from the lessons I’ve shared with you: I want you to take these lessons— and use them to grow your wings and spread your wings. I want you to take these lessons—and soar. This is my song: this is our song: “Prison walls of doubt and shame—no longer confine me. I’ve met the turn of the clock: the strike of midnight calls for a break in silence. An open heart meets an open mouth—conversing with the one I know to be true—a song rings in my heart: its echo is a key. Notes traveling—setting captives free: suddenly emerging in belief with wings. Our chains broken—released unto peace: a celebration called—His grace magnified.”–Hand In Hand
Queen, you’re meant to be a light. As you live purely in Christ—you shine. As you live purely in Christ—you carry the scent of heaven.
As your heart shines through in purity—your light is impactful. It's impactful to others. With a pure heart–your wings shine brightly. As the beauty of your wings is seen—as the beauty of your wings is acknowledged: your source must be acknowledged—Jesus Christ—the King of kings.
Shine queen, soar queen.
You're a world changer.
The world needs His light.
With love,
Mom
